The NHL Board of Governors approved the division realignment today. I couldn’t be happier to finally see this happen. I have been waiting for them to do this as it only makes sense. Most divisions stayed the same or at least kept their rivalries. Now Winnipeg doesn’t have to play in Florida anymore, something that should’ve changed as soon as that franchise left Atlanta. Columbus comes to my division, so that means more wins for me! Will be interesting to see Detroit play against Boston and Montreal more often.
