NY Red Bulls vs. Real Salt Lake

Well just as I predicted we lost. It was a horrible 3-0 after only 20 minutes!! Figured we would at least have had a chance to tie but nope, just got crushed.

So now we are out of the playoffs as Portland tied their game giving them a point above us. Saturday we face Portland at home so that is a vital game to win, and hopefully they can do it.

NY Red Bulls vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC

I went to last nights game with Jess and Matthew. We were all hoping for a win but of course we get another tie. Vancouver is the worst team in the league right now and yet we still cannot even get a win. We get a nice red card right before the second half which puts us down a man for half the game. Surprisingly we dominated possession during that time too. Backe made a few good subs and poof we get a goal to tie it up. We still need to work on our defense, it’s just terrible. At this rate there is a chance they might not even make the playoffs. I have two more home games to go to this month, they better be wins!

Hudson Valley Renegades Game

Last night I went to a Renegades game with Jess. Thanks to Mr. Perry for the tickets!

I can’t remember the last time I went to a Renegades game, so of course it was fun! They played the Staten Island Yankees.

Renegades got off to a bad start losing 2-0 in the first inning, but they rallied late and wound up winning 5-4. Good play by the center fielder to get the tying run out at home plate late in the game.

NY Red Bulls vs. Toronto FC

All I can say is WOW. Went down to the game tonight with Jess and Juston. I figured it would be another stupid tie since that’s all they have been doing, but boy was I wrong.

Red Bulls won 5-0….yeah that’s right, 5-0. Biggest win I’ve seen in the 3 years I’ve been watching RBNY. It’s just what the fans and team needed.

Guess maybe Jess is a good luck charm for them because she hasn’t seen them lose yet…..

NY Red Bulls vs. Columbus Crew

Yet another disappointment. I bring someone new to the game and the Red Bulls start it off great scoring in the 9th minute and keeping possession for most of the game. You think in stoppage time with about 30 seconds left of stoppage time that the Red Bulls would just play keep away and kill time. Nah, they try to play fancy with the ball, loose it and get scored on. I mean come on another freekin tie!!!!

I’m so sad, they haven’t won in like 6 games. At least they are tying and not losing though right?
